When writing a fanfiction, you must:
- Put The RATING in the Title!
- Before starting to write, always put the: title, author, rating, genre, and summary at the top.
- G - for readers of all ages. No language, no sexual activity, no violence.
PG - for readers eight and above. Mild language, probably no sexual activity, perhaps some mild violence.
PG-13 - for readers thirteen and above. Some language, some sexual activity, violence (not very descriptive).
PG-15 - UK and Aussie writers might be more comfortable with this. It hovers between PG-13 and R.
R - sexual activity (sexual intercourse implied; nothing too graphic, however), strong language, violence.
NC-17 - graphic sex and/or violence, but you shouldn't care about this rating? Why? Because it's NOT ALLOWED!
[/li][/ul] EX: Title: Curse of a Stage Author: Calamity Alpaca Rating: PG Genre: Humor, Horror, General Warnings: some horror scenes Summary: Hogwarts is setting up their very first play ever. Everyone is excited, until weird and creepy things start to happen. Actors disappear, and disasters happen at rehearsal. Can the sixteen-year-old trio figure out what’s going on before Hogwarts is no longer safe?
